Drift Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Drift is made by Kitchen Labs. It's a private instrument that measures whether crypto price gaps are real, using paper money only. This page says, in plain English, what happens to your information when you visit it.
The short version
- Drift has one account: its owner's. There is no sign-up, and visitors can't create an account.
- The demo needs no account. It shows a fixed sample of Drift's own paper-trading data and stores nothing about you.
- There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
What we handle, and why
If you try the demo. Tapping Try the demo sets one cookie, drift_demo, in your browser. It only tells the site to show sample data instead of live data, and it expires after 12 hours (or when you tap Leave the demo). The demo can't sign in, run a scan or change a setting, and it sends nothing about you anywhere.
Light or dark mode. If you switch between light and dark, your browser remembers the choice on your own device (in its local storage). It is never sent to us.
The owner's sign-in. The single owner account signs in with an email and password through Supabase, which hosts Kitchen Labs' database. That sets the usual sign-in cookies for the owner only.
Hosting. The site runs on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) to run and protect the service.
What Drift stores
Public market prices from exchanges, and the simulated ("paper") trades, balances and results Drift works out from them. None of it is personal information, and none of it is real money: Drift has no way to place a real order.
What we don't do
No advertising, no analytics tools, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing of data. We don't ask visitors for their name, email, location or anything else.
Not financial advice
Drift is a measurement tool. Nothing it shows is financial advice or a recommendation to trade.
Children
Drift is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from them.
