Common questions
What is Gridiron? A fantasy-football command center for someone who plays in several leagues. It reads your leagues on Sleeper and ESPN and shows, on one screen, which lineups need fixing, where each of your players sits across every league, a live draft room with pick-by-pick advice, and alerts when something changes.
Can I use it for my own leagues? Not yet. Gridiron is a private tool with one owner, so there's no sign-up. You can see everything it does in the demo: tap Try the demo on the sign-in page.
Is the demo real? The app is; the leagues aren't. The demo runs the real Gridiron on three made-up leagues with real NFL players, real projections and draft positions, and real public news headlines. Nothing you do in it is saved, and it can't change anything anywhere.
How does the draft replay work? Open Draft, then Mock draft replay. The other eleven teams pick on their own, one every couple of seconds. When it's your turn the replay waits: the advice panel says who to take and why, and Draft him makes the pick. Pause the replay stops the other teams; reloading the page starts the draft over.
What do the numbers in the draft room mean? Points is the player's projected season total under that league's scoring. VBD (value based drafting) is how many more points he's worth than the best player you could still get later at the same position. Still there? is the chance he lasts until your next pick. A low number means take him now.
Where do the AI summaries come from? From a third-party AI service, reading only the public headlines and short excerpts shown under each summary. Each one says it was written by AI and when. They can be wrong, so check the headlines before you act on one.
Does Gridiron change my lineup or make moves for me? No. Sleeper and ESPN don't let outside apps make changes, and Gridiron only reads. When it suggests a move, it links you to the league's own app to make it.
Why is a player photo missing? Photos load straight from ESPN's and Sleeper's image servers. When neither has one, Gridiron shows the player's initials on his team colour instead.
How do I switch between light and dark? Tap the sun or moon button (in the sidebar on a computer, top right on a phone). Gridiron starts with your device's setting.
How do I leave the demo? Tap Exit the demo (the arrow button at the top right on a phone).
