Common questions
How do I start a game? On a TV or a laptop, open the site and tap Host a game, then pick a pack. The screen shows a QR code and a 4-letter room code. Everyone else taps Join a game on their phone (or scans the QR code), types the code and a name, and taps I’m ready. When everyone is ready, the big screen starts the draft.
Do we need a TV? It helps, but any laptop or tablet works as the big screen. Everyone bids from their own phone.
How does bidding work? Everyone starts with $20 and a team to fill (4 spots, or 3 with 5 or 6 players). One thing comes up at a time. The highest bid when the clock runs out wins it. A bid of $0 is allowed, and you can't outbid yourself. When you run out of money, the leftovers land free on whoever still has room, and the game never waits on someone who can't bid.
Who wins? After the draft, everyone pitches their team, argues, then votes. You can't vote for yourself. The room's vote decides; the AI judge breaks ties and hands out awards (the steal, the overpay, the free pickup).
Why does the judge say "Your votes decided it"? The AI judge didn't answer in time, so the room's vote decided on its own. The game still ends normally.
My phone locked or I closed the tab. Am I out? No. Open the same room again on the same phone and you're back in your seat. The game keeps going without you in the meantime.
The screen says the room is full or has already started. A room holds 6 players. If the draft has already started you can't bid, but you can still join to watch it and vote for the best team at the end.
The code doesn't work. Codes are four letters and numbers and never use O, 0, I or 1. Rooms are deleted about a day after they were last used, so an old code won't open.
Can I share the result? Yes. When the game ends, See the recap opens a page with every team and the ruling. Anyone with the link can see it until the room is deleted.
How do I delete a game? Email the room code and roughly when you played, and we'll delete it.
