Common questions
How do I bet? Pick a chip from the tray, then tap the table where you want to bet. Tap again to add another chip. Undo takes back the last chip and Clear takes back all of them. When you're ready, tap Spin.
How do I bet on two or four numbers at once? Tap the line between two numbers for a split, the spot where four numbers meet for a corner, and the outer edge of a row for a street (three numbers) or between two rows for a six line. The middle of a number's box is a bet on that number alone.
What does each bet pay? A single number pays 35 to 1, a split 17 to 1, a street 11 to 1, a corner 8 to 1, a six line 5 to 1, a dozen or a column 2 to 1, and red, black, odd, even, 1 to 18 and 19 to 36 pay 1 to 1. "35 to 1" means a $1 chip wins $35 and you keep your $1. The zeros lose every even-money bet. Tap How to play (the question mark) to see this at the table.
What's the difference between the European and American wheel? The European wheel has one green zero; the American wheel has two (0 and 00). The extra zero means the house keeps more over time: about 2.7% of what you bet on the European wheel and 5.26% on the American one. Change it in the Table menu; chips on the table are handed back when you switch.
Is the result fair? Yes. The winning number is picked the moment you tap Spin, by a random number generator seeded from your browser's secure random source, with every pocket equally likely. The wheel then animates to that pocket; the animation never changes the result. The game is tested over tens of thousands of spins to make sure every number comes up evenly.
I ran out of chips. How do I get more? Tap Start over (it appears when you're out) or open the Table menu and tap Start over with $1,000. It's free and it's pretend: there's nothing to buy.
Why is a chip greyed out? It's worth more than you have left. Pick a smaller one.
Where are my chips saved? Can I play on another device? Only in this browser on this device. There are no accounts, so your balance doesn't move between devices, and clearing your browser's data for this site resets it.
No sound? Tap the speaker button at the top (on a phone it's in the Table menu), and check your device isn't muted. Browsers only allow sound after you've tapped the page once.
Playing for real? This game uses pretend chips only. If gambling stops being fun, call the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537).
