Flow Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Flow is made by Kitchen Labs. It's a planner for classes, clubs and side projects, with a dashboard, a timeline and a board. This page says, in plain English, what happens to your information.
The short version
- If you create an account, your projects, tasks, milestones and labels are stored in Kitchen Labs' database so you can see them wherever you sign in. Only your account can read them.
- The demo keeps everything in your own browser. Nothing you do in the demo is sent to us.
- There is no AI, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
What we handle, and why
Your account. To sign in you give an email address and a password. They're handled by Supabase, the service that runs Kitchen Labs' sign-in and database; the password is stored scrambled (hashed), never as text we can read. The same Kitchen Labs sign-in works across Kitchen Labs apps, but each app keeps its own data: joining Flow adds a Flow profile to your login, with the name you typed when you created the account, if you gave one.
What you put in Flow. Your projects (name, description, colour, dates, and which project a sub-project belongs to), tasks (name, notes, status, priority, dates, time needed, when you finished it and its place on the board), milestones (name, date, notes, whether it's a deadline) and labels. We store them only to show them back to you. Database rules let only your signed-in account read or change them.
Staying signed in. Your browser keeps a sign-in cookie so you don't have to sign in on every visit. Signing out removes it.
Running the website. Flow's website is hosted by Vercel, and the database by Supabase. Like any web host, they keep standard technical logs of requests (such as IP address, browser and the page or data requested) for a limited time to run and protect their services. We don't use those logs to track you.
The demo
The demo at /demo runs on sample data. Any changes you make are saved only in your browser (its local storage), never sent to a server, and replaced with fresh sample data after a few days. Reset demo clears them straight away, and so does clearing this site's data in your browser.
What stays in your browser
Your light or dark mode choice and, if you use it, the demo's sample data are kept in your browser only.
Deleting your data
- Delete a task, milestone or project from its screen at any time. Deleting a project also deletes its sub-projects, tasks and milestones.
- To delete your Flow account and everything in it, ask through our contact page, giving the address you signed up with. We'll delete your Flow data, and your Kitchen Labs login too if you don't use it for another Kitchen Labs app.
What we don't do
No advertising, no analytics, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing of data. Flow doesn't use AI. Its fonts are served from Flow's own site, not loaded from Google.
Children
Flow is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from them.
