Common questions

Do I need an account? No. Titan works fully offline without one. An account only backs up your log and keeps it the same on each iPhone you sign in on.

What happens to my workouts when I sign in? Anything you logged before signing in is merged into your account, so nothing is lost.

What happens when I sign out? Titan asks whether to keep your log on this iPhone or erase it from this iPhone. Your backup on the server isn't touched either way.

What does "previous" mean next to a set? It's what you lifted for that set the last time you did the exercise, in any workout, so you know what to beat.

What is RPE? Rate of perceived effort: how hard a set felt, from 1 to 10. A 10 means you couldn't have done another rep. It's optional.

How are personal records worked out? For each exercise Titan tracks your heaviest weight, most reps, best estimated max (the most you could likely lift once, worked out from a set of several reps) and the most weight moved in one set (weight × reps). Timed and distance exercises track your longest time and distance. A new best gets a small celebration.

The rest timer didn't alert me. Allow notifications for Titan in the iPhone Settings app (Settings → Notifications → Titan). While Titan is open, the timer plays its own sound instead.

How do I move my history from another app? Settings → Your data → Import from Strong or Hevy. Titan reads CSV exports from Strong and Hevy, and its own export. Workouts already in Titan are skipped.

How do I delete my account? Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your Titan data from our server.
