How to play
- Each duel is two players with a hand of cards. You both start with 20 health; bring your rival's to 0 to win.
- Every turn, you both pick a card at the same time and tap Lock. Then both cards play out.
- A card you play rests for a few turns before you can play it again. You can see your rival's cards, so watch for their big hit and block it with a shield.
- Abilities work once a fight. So does the Lucky Roll: a 4 to 6 hits your rival, a 1 to 3 hurts you.
- New to the game? Tap Show me how on Home before your first duel: three short duels against the AI teach all of this.
- Win Road Duels to earn Honor, travel the old road from Edo (today's Tokyo) to Kyoto, and draw fortunes full of Coins and cards.
Common questions
I lost my connection in the middle of a duel. Open the game again, tap Battle and start any duel: it takes you straight back into the duel you were in. While you're away, each turn you miss plays Defend for you. Three missed turns in a row lose the duel, so come back quickly.
My duel seems stuck. Reload the page. The duel carries on from where it was, on the server.
Clearing my browser data lost my progress. You play as a guest, and your browser holds the only key to that guest. To keep your progress safe, open Settings → Save your progress and add your email. After that you can get your player back on any device with Already saved your progress? Sign in. If your browser was cleared before you added an email, we can't recover the guest.
My phone asks me to turn it sideways. Each camera view is built for one way of holding the phone: behind your fighter is upright, the side view is sideways. Turn your phone, or tap the button on that screen to switch views.
Can I buy anything with real money? No. Nothing in the game can be bought with real money. Random rewards are never sold, and the game's Odds page lists the exact chance of every one.
How do I delete my account? Open Settings → Delete account and confirm. It removes your name, cards, progress and friends for good. The Privacy Policy says exactly what we keep and what goes. If you can't get into the game, contact us with the name you played under.
